Haven’t quite figured out how to find out which cylinder is misfiring but hopefully I will get there.
Looks to be very good already found that the ABS alarm on Ford was on a different sensor than the one I was told to change (that would explain why it made no difference when I changed it). Total Car Diagnostics dudes have done an amazing job. But the real plus is being able to do the live performance testing that used to require a $500 electronic device.
This program blows me away!!! I can do LIVE diagnostics from anywhere around the car, which beats the heck out of the primitive $150 handheld units and even those endless Android apps, which are limiting as heck (tried them all, Torque, etc). TOAD software beats pro analyzers! Been doing electronic troubleshooting and performance analysis for years. See more TotalCarDiagnostics Truth/Scam REVIEWS here… “ TOAD software beats pro analyzers! Best analyzer I’ve seen in years. Regular Windows users will install it in a snap!” Why 4 stars? Took me an hour to setup, but that’s my own fault, because I’m not that good with Windows. It may be a little too much for home user, as long as they are willing to invest an hour. I certainly recommend this for mechanics. “ TOAD by Total Car Diagnostics embarrassingly trumps our $3000 Scantool… I work as an auto mechanic, and we have a snap on solus machine that cost us $3k… TOAD does a better job of talking to car ECU’s and helping diagnose emissions issues than the snap on machine, and has saved my butt at work several times while working on cars.
